Hello Everyone,

I am sponsoring my wife from Pakistan. My timeline is this:

Married - July 2011
Case sent - September 2011
Case Received by Immigration - Dec 2011
July 2012 - Request for additional Docs (QC selection and Supplementary form), but I sent recent communications, bank statements, police certificate, money transfers as well.
Re-Medical Request - 01 Oct 2012
Re-Medical Done - 04 Oct 2012

Your timeline is almost the same as mine. Didn't you get a call from CHC in august asking if you could land before the first medical expires? When was that medical expiring?

well my question is that:
a person who is canadian citizen and already married in canada to a canadian citizen and then get married again do second marriage in pakistan can apply for immigration of the second wife who is in pakistan while already having first wife in canada ?

I don't think polygamy is allowed or recognized under canadian law. So only the first marriage can be sponsored.

What the heck is this my mpa emailed chc to ask about my process dey said background checks is pending I had my medical on June 30 I have emailed dem to before re medical and dey answers me background check is working on ur case and now dey saying it's on pending what is dis. what dey want from us?

Are you aware that for immigration, deception is usually grounds for refusal, claiming asylum and then saying inland family class ... How do you know the case has been accepted? If anything it's nice that spouses can be together but there's too much of a chance for problems.

How is uniting a family a deception?!!!
I think I was not clear, claiming Asylum and being allowed in for family class are two dif things.
But yeah again I am not trying to tell anyone to lie nor deceive Immigration system, hope this helps.

AOA TO ALL,
i m confused over my ecase status, when i receive my remed request that time my ecase status was "medical results has been received".
and now after lapse of around two months after remedical done , my ecase status is same as "medical results has been received"
anyone comment on this whether my medical results has been received by CHC-I or not, as i observed on this forum that many forum member having issue regarding receipt of medical results by CHC-I,
Would i presume that my medical results has been received by CHC-I. if yes then why they are not sending me PPR.

No one can say for sure. Who knows if they updated that or not, it could still be referring to the initial med you did when you sent the application. The online status isn't accurate, some update others don't. Mine, for example, still shows application received. If you want to get further details, you can order GCMS notes.

Same is the the case with me. My status was updated to 'Medical results have been received' in May. Us din sa postman ka intezaar ker ker k ankhein pathar ki ho gaee han, lekin CHC-I shayad humari file per pakoray rakh k khatay rehtay han.
