i wonder know why ppl are getting Police certificate request after remedical while their sttaus is updated to medical results have been received ??? thats mean we shouldnt expect ppr.. they can ask for other stuff before ppr

heh you shouldn't even expect that they won't ask for anything even AFTER ppr. You never know how they might ask for, say, a chest xray..

Can someone please help me here? My wife received re-medical + passport request on 26 Sep 2012

The letter doesn't mention where to get medical from so my wife called the same medical centre where she got her medical last time and was told by them that the rules have changed and they don't do medicals there any more and the person there gave her address of a medical centre. So I went on Canada Immigration website and pulled phone number of that medical centre and gave it to my wife. She called the other medical centre and person on phone wanted to know where she found their number and when she told him she found it online, he was like I can not book an appointment for you since the letter Canadian embassy sent you doesn't mention any address or phone on the letter. He told her to write an email to Canadian embassy and ask them where to get medical from.

Can someone please tell me where to get the re-medical from? and do we have to book an appointment first or is it just walk in?

This is the place where she got her medical done last year.

There is no IOM number on letter, it doesn't even mention the word IOM on the letter.

It just says in handwriting on the last page "Please send us your passport after completing your medical"
