hello dear members,

i have been following each n every post of this forum for quite a while now and each day i start checking the posts hoping to see some good news from anybody.
Well I would like to share my updates today, I just received my ReMed + PPR right now, which means CHC has started working again after strike, till yesterday i thought they r still not back from Friday's strike.

I have a question from experienced members, it asks to send PP within 15 days but the date on the letter is 6th september, which means its already past 15 days now, would it be a problem? or is it 15 days of receiving the letter,? (btw it is clearly stamped on the envelope that they sent it on 24th sept 12).

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

and all the best to all the members for their visas, CHC seems to have started sending out requests so keep ur fingers crossed.

InshaAllah everyone who's waiting for so long will hear something soon!!!!
congratulations :)
now those who r waiting for remed+ppr & those who r waiting for pp back will get it soon inshaAllah

No updates lekin: :P

I (my wife) received a letter for an updated police certificate on August 6th,
Given the BFD (bring forward date) is either 45, 60 or 90 days
You can calculate as to when they look at your file again, thoughts?

** This can also be confirmed by looking the bottom letters received
It will say something along the lines of please provide the requested papers
within 45 days…..

Guys,
My medical was done on 10th July. I am waiting for PPR. Can anyone please tell me when should i be expecting my PPR?

only God knows better :) almost we all are waiting for ppr or pp back with visa just pray and pray hard 4 yourself and 4 all of us.inshaAllah we all get our visas before Eid ishaAllah inshaAllah inshaAllah

Niraash - don't worry about the dates, do your re-med as soon as possible and send the passport in along with remed reciept- don't waste your time asking for an extention or contacting them. If they open your file and see the passport hasn't been recieved yet - they will give you a call and ask you and at that time you can explain it to them.

I don't think that MP's are necessarily liers - all they can do is call around to different visa offices locally and find out the status of the application from the system notes that visa officers at CHC have made. Really they don't have any control over the application process as CHC doesn't care what anyone has to say (unless its the minister of immigration), and they will work on cases as they like. So basically MP's forward the generic answers that they get from these other local visa officers - all they can tell you is if there is a change in your file such as if they have sent you re-medical or PPR or when your file was last reviewed. They cannot tell you anything such as how long your case will take or what the next steps are - probably we are more knowledgable on the process than they are being on this forum and talking to other people who have gone through the experience. So they give you a generic answer that wait time is 26 months.

i personally dont beleive on MP..because 3 , 4 weeks back my husband contact him and he said that chc said "that we are not working on ur wifes application right now and it take 26 months to complete her process. so i hate what my MP said because i got my ppr on week back and i already submitted my passport, so my and mine husband experience with mp is not good.(so my mp was jhotaaaaaa)
thats my experience with mp.

thanks alot emanzaib,

i have a few more questions from forum friends, it asks to books an apptt with an IOM by email, has anyone booked an apptt by email? do they reply promptly? i emailed them right away but no reply yet. And wat is the diff btw DMP and IOM? The number that they provided had recording on, that we have to book an apptt through email, cant do it over the fone.

Also, do i have to provide details for my wife, the sponsor, as well (she WILL BE accompanying me to Canada but she is already a citizen) in this case, do i provide her details in the chart attached with PPR?

Our consultant is in Canada, do we have to get a NO ObJECTION letter from them??? as it says in PPR that if u r using a consultant outside pak, they must indicate that they have NO OBJECTION to this office returning your PP to an address in Pak.

again, thanks for ur valuable info!!!

you're welcome, I'm not too sure about the IOM e-mail booking as my husband got it done through DMP back in June - this IOM is something new. However, as for the PPR sheet, you do not need to include your wife's (sponser) info on it as it does not apply to her. Not sure about the consultant question either - maybe some other forumers can help you

Good luck
