Hello friends.
If anyone get his passport back from CHC along with Visa so may i know how long can he or she stay in pakistan? i mean what is the expiry date of the visa...thanks

expiry date of the visa is same as expiry date of your medical
and medical is good for 12 months after you get your medical

Brother, you didnt get me? i mean when CHC return ur passport along with the Visa so what will be the duration of ur Visa staying in pakistan? how long can u stay in pakistan? when ur visa gonna b expire?

after you get your passport from CHC with visa on it
you have to enter canada before your medical expires
it is a single entry visa and you have to make that entry within the time of your medical

the visa you get from CHC is not immigration because immigration can only be granted at the Air port or internation border of canada

after you enter canada at the immigration counter inside the airport they grant you immigration and later you get a multiple entry document called PR card
so from that point on your PR card is you visa into canada

Everyone, please advise how much longer for PPR based on below!! Thank you in advance

ok so I got my GCMS notes that I ordered on July 18..

eligibility: passed
security: (blank)
criminality: not started
medical: passed

so even though I don't understand the lingo completely in the notes - it does appear that there has been activity and the file is being worked on. Whereas previously it said security not started now it says security is blank and under activity and also security section there are several notes and instructions.. so I'm guessing they have begin security checks..

A couple questions: the group name changed to SEC from "in progress - medical instructions to be sent" and the group number changed too.. (this is me comparing the new notes to previous notes I have ordered). So what does this mean? Has it changed to SEC because the medical is now passed?

hello everyone! could anybody guide me !
I received re-med & PPR together on June 5th.
The passport i sent on June 11 after completing medical.
Now my August 15th e-cas status showing "Medical results received".
How long further will it take to get the passport back with visa stamp?

No one can give you the exact date, unfortunately. Usually it takes 4 to 6 weeks from the date/time CHC receives the passport. Since you have waited for more than two months, I imagine you would receive your passport within the next two weeks. Again, don't quote me on it Your case, however, does concern me a bit. My wife sent her passport on July 11th. I was hoping she would get it back before eid, but obviously that is not going to happen now. I guess it is time for me to take another heavy dose of patience... ;D

I also did my re medical test on june 18th 2012. now it shows medical reports recived.....still waiting for PPR...i m really worry about it. dont know when will recive it...anybody who can give me a good information about it plz?

Hi, we got a response to an enquiry made through the MP office. Among other things, they have mentioned that our file is in process and in queue to be reviewed by a decision-making officer.

I've heard this term for the first time during the application process,as they always used the term Immigration Officer and arises the question that is this person (decision-making officer) the same as an immigration officer, or a different species (a visa officer)? Did anyone here ever get the same response from CHC? Any thoughts as to which stage our application might be in?

Hey bro, your case is the same like my my cousin...While he make a decision on ur passport so ur E cas will show a decision is made...then u will get ur passport back within a week

Of course it is in final stage...when u do ur remedical and they ask for PPR that means it is in final stage...now they send ur file to decision make officer...i m sure they will do decision on it within 1 or 2 weeks inshallah...keep checking ur E cas status everday..the day they wrote decision made by officer that means they already stamp ur passport and send it to u...then wait fr the passport

when did you do your medical and send your passport
