CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

So I just submitted my documents last week to Missauaga to sponsor my hubby. I've recently heard that CHC-Islamabad has been speeding up the process lately Alhamdulillah and more people are getting their visas sooner Is this true? And does anyone have any idea on when they will update the application processing time on the citizenship and immigration canada website?

They were supposed to update on 23 july but they didnt soo lets c bcoz last update was v late...
I heard they will make some changes in process in sept of this year so hopefuly time wil decrease inshaAllah

yup u r right.its a risk not worth taking..its better to be there n receive the PR card.i hope its 3-4 weeks.i have heard people waiting 3-4 months and even longer

It takes three months for sure. my sister got it in 3 months

Congrats to the both of you. Khilafah bro, how much longer do you think for us?? and my sister, her case was definitely sent before mine by a few months. Shes already sent updated PCC and docs, but no remed or anything yet...and no updates online either, still application received.

ask u sisiter to order gCMS notes

u order them after 2 weeks

it depends how the VISA officer wants to proceed with ur case

my GCMS clearly showed that he wanted the medical first then PPR and thats what happened

She already ordered them around end of June or first week of July I think. I also ordered GCMS notes few days ago. I read something about it taking 30 days for response, ill have her check her email to see if she got anything yet.

How would one follow up regarding GCMS notes if after 30 days we don't receive them?
