If March 13, 2012 was the date on the letter then April 28, 2012 would be BFD. As you get 45 days to submit everything. On April 28, 2012 they opened up your file and checked to see if everything is in order. They will do the review on the file for a week to two weeks. Once they are satisfied, they will send out ReMed + PPR. However, if you don't get any response from them by the end of May then order GCMS.

My Application submission date is 15-july-2011, and our lawyer in Canada receive AOR by email and file transfer to CHC-Islamabad dated 21-Sept-2011 with UCI/File # and so on. Since then today 10-May-2012 our lawyer didnt receive any corresspondence by CHC-Islamabad.

Is it Normal ??? 8)

as far as CHC is concerned nothing is normal..you nad i have almost same date our file got to islamabad on the 19th of september and we havent heard anything so far since there...

Some news to share. Today after approx 55 days of wait, status online is changed to Decision made. It further says, we received your medicals (no date is mentioned). It also says that Decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Now my wife is waiting for a TCS person to deliver the passport Hoping visa stamped in the passport. and not some other decision which I don't even want to think about

hi everyone i have something to share.. i recieved remedical request today 10-05-2012.. the letter is dated 26-04-2012. i wonder such long delay in recieving but anyways .
can anybody tell me how long more after remedical is sent do i have to wait for PPR?

sit tight dear. im sure its ur turn. remember something i wrote yesterday?? it actually happened. so inshaAllah u will get the remed in five days.

one thing that i wanna advise everyone on board is that pls go and tell ur nearest post office that ur important registry is due and should be delivered promptly. i recieved my letter wd delay of 14 days. you cant get an appointment wd DMP on such short notice.. (bribe the post office people and they will deliver ur mail asap)

I don't know what part of Pakistan are you in where CHC mail is being delivered to your address by regular mail. In Islamabad, TCS is delivering all the correspondence.

Not sure if bribing will work and I am against it and not recommend it to anyone.

As far as delay in the mail is concerned, there are various factors. Date on letter doesn't mean the letter was dispatched the same day. Also, it depends when mail got picked up from the CHC or delivered to the mailing location. Also, most courier companies are closed on Sunday's and if you are in a city in Pakistan where Friday is observed a day off then you can do the math.

As far as your actual question on how soon can you request a PPR. It depends when you get your re-medical done, when the DMP office sends the results to New Delhi and New Delhi then processes the medical results. Approx it is 30 to 40 days. DMP office sends medical results to New Delhi via TCS. You can get the tracking number from DMP and track.

Hard to understand the behavior of chc , they giving visa of 2011 some cases,
2010 still waiting.
or a lot of 2011,,,
