I think meds are valid for 1 year, so InshAllah they'll try to complete your case before April 2013 so that you don't have to do remed a 3rd time.

I just looked at the Residency Questionnaire...to be honest I don't remember doing this. I think its new, anyone else know?? I will have to go through my docs tomorrow and check to be sure but I don't remember having my wife fill this stuff out. I could be wrong though.

Regardless...at least you're making progress. At this point they will just do the security checks etc. and then issue ppr.

I'm not..but I use logic..I work for government myself..I or any of my colleagues never care that someone has filed ATIP...I'm not fighting you and perhaps was too blunt earlier but I get pissed at all the fear mongering...if you do this that will happen etc.

BTW a colleague of mine is former consultant and he know of no issue with ordering GCMS. Consultants are the same bastards who charge hundreds to do the 5 minutes of paperwork to get GCMS...

relax my friend relax ...... may be you are right may be my consultant is really an idiot or may be he is something beyond that .... but there is no need for you to get stressed over it my dear friend ..........as a matter of fact i too work for government ..... actually two different levels of government ..... my area of knowledge is mainly provincial acts ...... and as you must already know this is strictly the matter of federal statute ...... to be precise freedom of information and protection of privacy act in accordance with charter of rights and freedom 1982.

in my limited knowledge and personal opinion if an officer (any officer in any department) is working on a case he himself takes care of all different aspects of it ...... deputizing an individual or a department for a particular task is always an option .... but in most cases its subject to ones expertise in certain field of knowledge ...... normally officers don't exercise this option just because of lack of time ....... they take immigration applications seriously and this may very well be the reason why application might be taking so much time.

this is just my opinion .... and then again i am not an expert of law ...... like i said may be you are right may be my consultant is an absolute idiot

besides for most of you ...... your applications are almost done ..... i would be finishing my shopping at this point not stressing over something as small as this ....... inshAllah everything will be ok brother ..... we are praying for all of you .... please pray for us too ..... jazak Allah

Last word I promise...this has nothing to do with law cause law says I'm allowed to see what government writes about me...some believe atip requests will influence officers negatively, that has nothing to do with law or policy, the government won't write "if you notice atip requests then be critic or deny" as atip is allowed by law. In fact if an officer was ever influenced by same and it was proven that he or CIC has this practice it would most likely result in termination.

BTW not really pointing at you my friend or anything but I have read this and other scare tactics so many times here that I want to get this clear at least, people can choose to agree or disagree but I hope I've been convincing, don't be a fool with cic, they're not your friends but don't make them the boogeyman and be so scare either.
