my dear pakistan and pakistani system hating friend

how long did it take you to get all the documents for the application

i know the weight of my application was like 2 to 2.5 kilograms
all the documents where 100% authentic and true
95% of the documents were made in pakistan by pakistani government officials in their paid duty time paid by government of pakistan

and it took my wife and I about 2 moths to put together the application

the waiting time that coffee sipping pakistani official took was way less then 1 month for all the documents
i did not pay a single pakistani rupee to any official to speed up the process for the documents

ALL OF YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS PROCESS SO YOU MUST KNOW ALL THAT UNLESS MY PAKISTAN HATING FRIEND HERE HAD TO PAY BIG MONEY TO SOME PAKISTANI OFFICIAL TO GET HIS WIFE'S DOCUMENTS FROM PAKISTANI OFFICIALS

the part of pakistani government was done in less then a month

now when i sent my wife's application to MOST ACTIVE WELL TRAINED, EFFICIENT, WELL-ORGANIZED, DISCIPLINED, PROFICIENT, GIFTED, SKILLED, RESOURCEFUL AND CAPABLE ..... CHC-I

THEY ARE TAKING ALL THAT TIME

BUT NO NEED TO PANIC ......... because the time is well under the normal processing time

still i am not complaining there are systems everywhere ..... AND THE SYSTEMS WORK

so my friend it is totally ok if you hate someone but when you start pointing finger ....... try to be a bit fair

if you have a shred of decency please please tell the forum how long it took you to get all the supporting documents from pakistan
and we all know how long the process is taking right now

Let's not forget that the main cause of these delays is not the inefficiency of the Pakistani government, neither the inefficiency of workers at the Visa office in Islamabad. In fact, most of these people are probably the same ones who were dealing with cases in 2008 or earlier which were being processed in 6 months or so.

In my opinion, the real reason for the delays is the change in policies of the Canadian government. Allah knows best.

It's been 5 months since my wife submitted her supp forms requested in the AOR and still no re-medical request. I have read here that the file is usually reopened in 3 to 6 months. Should I wait another month before ordering GCMS notes, if I don't hear anything? Any suggestions?? ::)

Pleasure. The online status doesn't always reflect your actual status. My file is in process since Feb. 2012, but ecas still says application received. And yeah, husband cases are known to take longer than wife cases, but not always. I applied in Dec. 2010 and am still waiting for my PPR. Mine is a wife case.

Once they send out your remedical request, your file is sent for security check. If you have a long work history (especially in some sensitive position or organization), or travel history, your checks will take longer than a wife who has not done any job or never travelled. That is the reason for the husband cases taking longer than the wife cases.

Technically speaking, we should have gotton our visas by now, not just the PPR. But CHC-I does not seen to be bound by any rule, so it is totally unpredictable.Let us all pray for each other that it happens within a week. It's reallly taking a toll on me.

They require original form-bay ,original birth certificate and original canadian passport and/or canadian citizenship card of one of the parent.

Untill and unless your Canadian spouse does not contact the Consular Services, the matter shall not become clear to you.If your spouse is outside Pakistan , then he cannot send his passport through post/courier to CHC Islambad , as it is illegal.

THANKS ALOT AGAIN!! UR GREAT HELP..
WHST UR TIMELINE?

Can anyone please tell how much "time period" do they give to send the passport after they send the PPR? Any help will be appreciated.

Anybody got their pp back today??
:( no luck for me n also status hasn't changed :(
I wan to cry my heart out Islamabad won't reply to my emails or faxes

In compliance with the department's commitment to the "first in, first out" policy, we process cases in the order they are received at our office.

This a bunch of BS , BIG TIME!! :-*
