Is there any one left from JUNE who has not got his/her pasport back from Embassy. Congrats to ADEELAD who got the passport back yesterday after almost 3 months. All you guys who are in this list have faith and pray hard and update as soon as u have any news. Keep us posted.

My time line as you requested:

Case Filed on 2 feb 2011.
Approval from Cic: 18th March 2011.
Processing started in Islambd: 30 july 2011.
Police certificate and additional forms requested: 15 may 2012
Remed: 12 june.
PPR: 1 july.
Passport sent 6th and reached isb on 9th july 2012.

No updates on website and no replies to email. This is my husbands case who wrk n live in saudi arabia and he is sitting in paksitan bc of passport held with the embassy.

my passport is wd them since 3rd july. and my remedical was done on 25 may.
dnt knw what the hell is wrong wd them. i am so damn depressed.

The only thing I would ask you to do is not to b depressed bc u r not alone. There r many others waiting just like u. My husband medical was done in june n no news. My feeling is that u will receive it before 25 sep bc they need to complete ur case before 4 months from the remed. Good luck and have a good one.

I don't get y are they takin so long to issue visa! So many ppl r suffering

If your medical & PPR are cupped together they would still need to do the background checks, which may take anywhere from 2 to 6 months, depended on principal applicants travel history.

So sending the passport does not mean it will be stamped right away.

Not exactly, because I have still not received the passport, it may take another couple of weeks, which will push the case into 17th month.

Congratulations, if you applied in end of May 2011, your case was actually processed in 16 months.

hi Guys,
Let me share my observation which i made on this forum that those who receive remed +PPR together ,they will require back grounds checks ets and will take around 3 to 4 months for return of PP.

on the other hand those who receive PPR after remed ,they received their PP within 30 to 45 days,

Correct me if i m wrong??????????????

I haven't sent an e-mail to CHC since April so I am not sure if the procedure has changed from their end. I believe my wife did send an e-mail in July and and, if I recall correctly, she did say that she received the automated acknowledgement e-mail. I can ask her again and let you know. Or you can try sending the e-mail from a different e-mail account?

Almost evrybody got Ppr n remed letters together and most of them were issued their visa! Wthin 15days!

Yesterday,I received my Passport back to me with Visa and all my staffs.

why everyone is sooooo depressed on this thread... c'mon guys atleast you handed out your passports to them and just waiting for visa... thats the last thing...
think about the ppl who are in interview queue for last couple of months and dont know when they will be scheduled for interview.... Thank to God..HE saved you from that torture...
i know its hard to wait for your spouse but we are not able to do anything but only pray... so keeep praying hard and Allah will make this process easy for you InshaAllah! and believe theres always something good behind everything.... think about it! :
