hello all,
my ecas finally changed to in process after a year. does anyone know how long it takes after this step? we sent additional docs in july n it was still showing app recvd, until now, it says in process now alhamdulilah

Next step probably is re-medical... within the next two to three months you (the applicant) will receive a request from CHC to re-do your medical. Once that is submitted, CHC will then ask you to send your passport as well for the purpose of visa issuance. Exact date/length can never be known, so just look out for these letters in the coming month(s).

Hey guys, CHC send me letter on june for sending them my orignal nikah khat and fill some forms and send them back...they also send remedical papers on july. i did my remedical on july 18th 2012. in my ecas it shows medical result have been recived but it still dont show in process...can anyoone tell me is my case still in process or not? i didnt see the word process since my case started????????????????????

The online status is not reliable at all. Some applicants will see their status change during the process and some applicants will not. Not sure how that works, but that is the reality. As long as you are receiving letters/communications from CHC, I don't think online status matters too much in this case. They have even asked you to do your medical again... if that is not "In process" then I don't know what is Pretend that the application status says "In Process"

mine still shows application received and no update abt medical received whereas i did my remedical last month. we will howeva be checking with CHC-I after 45days.....dont want them to misplace our docs

THE DR DID MY MED EXCEPT FOR XRAY.. AND HE TOLD ME THT MY APPLICATION WONT BE PROCESSED UNLESS I GET XRAY DONE AFTER THE DELIVERY WHICH IS IN OCTOBER. ALSO I WAS IN CANADA, BUT NOT ON SPOUSE VISA.
I CAME FROM CANADA ON 21ST N SEND MY PP ON 23RD.


Y DID ISLAMABAD CHC CALL ME HERE IF THEY R NOT GONNA ISSUE MY VISA. AS MY MED IS INCOMPLETE..

Yes! Sometime Pregnancy causing delay the case.

Your Dr is right they won't issue you visa until your medical is done and medical can't be done without X-Ray And X-Ray only can be taking after your baby Delivery.
Chc-i may call you or not. If you wish you can write a letter to CHC-I and explain them about your situation.

So, just sit and relax because you need for you and your baby.

HEY EVERYBODY


I VE A QUESTION, i GOT REMED REQUEST IN MAY, BUT AS I AM PREGNANT THE DR DINT DO MY X RAY..THE DR ALSO SAID THAT MY APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESS UNLESS I GET XRAY DONE.
ON 13JULY 2012..I RECEIVED REMED AND PASSPORT REQUEST THE SAME DAY FROM ISLAMABAD.

I SEND MY PP ON 24TH JULY AND I A LETTER FROM THE DR STATING THT I GOT MED DONE IN MAY 2012.
MY ECAS STATUS SHOWS IN PROCESS..

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME, Y DID THEY ASK FOR MY PP WHEN MY MED IS INCOMPLETE. AS I READ ON THIS FORUM THT BEING PREGNANT DOESNT SPEED UP THE PROCESS..

X-rays are mandatory part of the medical examination. Since your physician has decided to not to put you through X-ray due to potential risks, your medical as a result is considered incomplete. Unfortunately, your application process if anything will now be delayed. You must notify the CHC Islamabad as soon as possible regarding your pregnancy and your expected date of delivery. If your spouse is a Canadian citizen, the child born will automatically be considered a Canadian citizen. In this case, you will not need to add the child to your application, no medical examination or fee is required. You must, however, send CHC-I a copy of his or her birth certificate.

Atif jan dont worry every thing is ok with ur case. If they have asked u for those papers and remedical then it means ur app is in process. E case Is not too much important. Some times they update and some times they dont update the ecase. My e case was first changed in process and then they send me letter for remed and some forms and re pcc. And still shows in process. There is not updated my remedical. That is strang with every people they do different ways. They r making us crazy.

It took almost 2 months to decision made and I think 10 more days for passport return.am I right?

THen y did CHC I ask my pp n mail me the letter saying visa ready for issuance.
? Cuz they knew my med was incomplete cuz they receieved the reports in June

My dear let me clear for you this scenario. I don't think they going to issue you visa for permanent residence with incomplete medical. They may return your passport if you request them by letter.
Use the same postal address where you sent your PP.

Now if I'm not wrong you have Canadian visit visa? And you want to return back to Canada for your child delivery is that right?
If yes then just be aware if you decide to give your child birth as visitor in Canada the cost is to high could be $8000 up to $10000.
