Hello I have a question, my husband status says "decision made" but so far I haven't received nothing from them. Is it an error. Plus my husband passport will be expiry in 2012 sept. should i tell him to renew it? what should i do??

what is your timeline? Did u already receive Passport Request? You should tell him to renew his passport ASAP. Passport must be valid for min 6 months, which its not in your case. So get it made and send them a copy of the new passport.

RPRF paid: 21 March 2012
RPRF receipt e-mail to Isb office: 21 March 2012
Acknowledgment received from Isb: 22 March 2012
RPRF (Copy2) mailed to Mississauga office: 21 March 2012

You will just get a little more benefit , if you are supporting your Spouse in Pakistan !

Its OK ! It must be for your first part of Application, as Eligibility Review of Sponsor at Mississauga. Dont Worry

RPRF has to be paid in Canada. You can pay it online, print the receipt and mail it to Mississauga.

Hi,

This is not right. RPRF should be paid the person sponsoring his/her spouse. I sponsored my spouse, therefore, I paid that fees here in Canada. After paying the fees, you must send a copy of the receipt either by email or fax to CHC-islamabad and send copy2 to the Mississauga CIC office. The letter that was sent to your spouse in Pakistan, clearly mention the details. Also, the letter says, if the RPRF is not paid, that means, if your sponsor paid the fees, simply send the receipts mentioned in the letter.

You said that your sponsored paid the fees when application was filed. She should have the copy of that receipt. Just send that copy to CIC.

Hello,

The passport should be valid for at least one year. It will be advisable to get the passport renewed. Also, the status that shows online is not an error. My wife's status says In Process, but they sent a letter to my wife asking for re-med and submit passport.

Should my husband pay the RPRF now ?? I have been asked for re-pcc, imm forms and more proof ?? Or should we wait for a green signal from CHC-Islamabad ?
The letter I received does not specifically says to pay the RPRF but it says that if your sponsor has not paid RPRF, it should be paid immediately as this can delay the case.

Thankyou "people champs" for shedding the light on this matter!........well my actual question was who should send the confirmation email to CHC Islamabad...I understand that I have to pay the fee and to send the Copy-2 of the receipt to CPC-Mississauga, which I already did, but had a confusion abt sending an email to CHC Islamabad : Do they mind whoever is sending the email..they only need a confirmation by any mean right???

And also what king of the acknowlegement do they send ?Is that the general acknowledgement of email..or do they properly reply regarding the confirmation of RPRF.

Oh I can help on this, if you don't mind ..the address is not the same where u have sent the applicaion..its different for RPRF and further correspondence...u can also verify it thru CIC website( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/mississauga.asp)......but for convinience, here is the address:

For Spousal cases, it could only be paid in Canada by a person who is sponsoring.
