I read all the posts of previous members who got their re-med/ppr requests from CHC and have concluded that:
- If its just remed request then they send ppr request within 2 to 3 months (depends on ur security check activity).
- If its just ppr request then they send back ur stamped pp within 2 to 3 weeks or maximum 1 month (if there are no security checks involved).
- if its remed+ppr request then they send back ur stamped pp within 1.5 to 2 months (if there are no security checks involved).

Plz share ur timeline.
hmm detaiiled info... n sis what about for those who get re-med+ re-police Cert(Security Check)+ppr....???
Only this one is reming ... this will help for so many ppl..... Plz reply for this.... !!!

And Isaleem, could you please tell me that how do we know that is this Husband OR Wife case, AS I sponsored my husband along with my DEPENDENT.

In my case, what should it be called??

Very simple "Husband Case with dependent kid(s)"

Actually problem is that security check varies person to person.
Males have to go through a comprehensive check than females so processing time varies for each individual.
Due to this reason you can't make an exact guess.

Hi Guys,

Great news here regarding my parents sponsorship case that I filed in 2009, Islamabad has sent the attached PHEP letter asking to submit passports with a note saying "your immigrant visa appears ready for issuance"
Is there a way we can send them the passports without my parents having to visit Pakistan (parents are in Canada on supervisa)? or can we ask someone going to Pakistan to take the passports and courier it to CHC Islamabad and then send it back to us when the visas are stamped?

Because they are saying in the letter "our office cannot send passports overseas, you must provide an address in Pakistan to where a courier company can deliver" also they are saying "Do not send passports through international courier if you are not currently in Pakistan"

thanks a lot again

They won't tell you whether or not the interview has been waived. The only way you can find out what activity has taken place on your file is by ordering GCSM notes. But, you only applied in Dec 2013, so I doubt there is any use in ordering them atm. Wait a few more months and order them to see where your file is and what's been done etc.

Thanks for the info........

2 more questions if they ask for additional proofs....... Do they send out an email/letter sent to sponsor or to the sponsored person?

Are the originals returned to the sponsor or to the sponsored person?

Bye!!!

Additional proofs are sent to the applicant (sponsored person). Originals are returned to the sponsor (Canada)

Where are forum members.... ???? :(

Hello fellow forum members,

i am back from my trip to kabul. I went to visit my husband and it was the best time of my life. it feels like a dream now. back to usual life, talking via skype lol

I took plenty of pictures, and have my package of pictures and boarding passes and photocopy of stamped passport ready to send. i wanted to know from those who have sent additional information after a visit to their spouse, how they did it, how it has affected their timeline, and anything more would be nice Smiley

Thanks,
