No waiting for PPR after remed is far more tough!
After sending ur pp u should start shopping and packing!

and he should think for a new ideas how to welcome his/her spouse ..Like decoration of pink or red flowers around the house with candles on the floor etc etc
whatever he wants to do ...he shouldn't spend his time in waiting only do something creative yaar!

U shouldn't worry bc they just check dangerous diseases like hiv,tb etc etc which is dangerous for their plp or country i guess!

i dont wanna sound mean or anything but one of my friend was going trough the same and they dint do anything they even tried to applly for visit visa but they said they wont guaranty anything and after like 2-3 months the application for visit visa was refused


so u can always try but like 90% of the cases it will be refused

Please if anyone of you could tell me; i have received my Client ID number from Mississauga and Case processing Centre forwarded my Application to Canadian Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.

What will happen in Canadian Embassy in Islamabad. will they call me for interview or additional paper cause family cause. i mean my spouse my wife sponsored me and plz guys i am very worried about her cuz she is pregnant & her delivery date is 6th of may 2012 Sad plz tell me friends what i can do to fast the my file process??? she really needs me and she doesn't have anyone to take care of her.this will be very important and memorable moment for us and we wish we could be together for it its our 1st child.

My wife received letter from cic Mississauga on 21-March-2012 about our application has been approved and file forwarded to CHC Islamabad.

hahah lool let me tell u what i did in a week lool i ordered new bedroom set i bought all the extra stuff i needed went shopping for husband got him al kinda little welcome gifts lool in 4 days of shopping

my mom was wow u really good at that ;D


seriously buying stuff are very easier for us girls we just love to shop and specially when its for us

Remed can come earlier but if everything is in order the PPR can take four to six months.

Brother Basil,

According to timeline given to the last two years of spouse sponsorship cases, it will take 22 to 26 months. So until the beginning of 2014 please be patient, there is nothing you can do to speed up the process, just collect all the proofs of communication, emails, phone bills, skype records, envelops + letters, gifts records, record of your wife's visit's details, pics, tickets etc, and last but not least lot and lot of prayer.

As someone mentioned above you can try for a visit visa but there is not a big chance you will get it but you can try if you think it is worth it.
