Hi guys, I recently sent an email to chc,

"Dear Sir,

I have applied for my wife's sponsorship. Please update me the status of our application. Also, I heard that regular mail system in some areas of Karachi is poor, would it be possible for you to correspond through TCS? I'd appreciate it.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email."

and this is what they sent in reply,


"Dear Client,


In response to your email, please be informed that this application is in process, and that background checks are now over. Please be advised that in the next few days our office shall be sending you a PHEP letter, and also instructions to undergo a medical examination.


If any further information is required you will be contacted. In the meantime, please wait patiently while the application is processed."

salam guys,

so wife recieved a letter saying do remed and send in your passport as your visa is ready. she did her re med and sent her passport in on march 20th. the question is does the med go to india first and if it does how long does it take to reach to islamabad? any ideas how long more before she gets her passport back?

she did her med in lahore and she had to do her exrays in diff place then the med place. im hoping that does not cause any issues as doc said its normal and they will send in the results on time.

The medicals go directly from DMP to NewDehli and from there they update their records. Islamabad just checks their system for updates entered by New Dehli. Usually it takes atleast 60 days for the passport to come back with Visa if remedicals are sent together with Passport request.
