for Pakistan i don't think they will make a big deal because there are so many afghanis in Pakistan and vice versa the ties are so close and the culture is not much different i'm sure inshAllah it will be ok keep doing dua to Allah

I agree it should be first priority. I've been concerned about it my situation too. I'm scared they'd say my marriage isn't genuine. How about they pay making us do a grand ruksati and have them attend then they can be sure that the wedding is real. Even better they should buy a hall and for all those people getting married and going abroad should rent the hall from them and they can provide all the photography service to be 100% sure that the wedding happened.

my wife contacted with mp and sent email them mp said to her the background checking u have to wait till sep 2010 my case was not straight forward just bc of only nikha on phone

do u mean you have to wait until september 2011? If the background was checked previously does it need to be checked again?

Trust me, I sent them the hotel room bill for the wedding night and made sure that the reservation was made in Mr & Mrs name rather than just my name ... LOL

lol honestly they should have their own hotel after reading Danny's comment this seems an even better idea to have "CHC-ISLAMABAD EMBASSY HOTEL" where we can book our rooms. I like this idea more and more if only they would do this lol we might even get visas and be able to come home with our spouse right after the wedding.

I agree with you completely on this. This is a pretty good idea. None of their staff would ever have to buy dinner ever again. All those weddings they'd be attending lol. I was thinking that too, that they should get a hotel right next to the hall. Everyone would fly to Islamabad and it'd become wedding central or something. lol They could even offer us honeymoon service too. lol

lol kash asay hota ;D ;D let's just pray they are happy with the proofs we can provide for them. Where in Canada do you live? I'm in Ottawa which living in the capital region doesn't seem to do anything for immigration unfortunately in fact it's a longer process
