I got mine after a month

When I spoke to immigration dep't rep. I was told that once the winter is over then people start coming to Canada and this season she said that they have too many people arrived and it would take much longer to process their application.
You arrived in winter so you got that in one month.

Today i recieved additional backround check forms. for my wife and some Backround forms for me as well. These are for afghan nationals. i already have paid the landing fee and they have my wife's passport as well. My question, to you guys are is there anything else after this that they would ask, before they send my wifes passport back with stamped visa.

Congratulations brother,
I don't think they gonna ask u for anything else cause my sisiter-in-law just came from Kabul about a month ago and they hold her passport for 25 days but now cause of this stupid strike I am not sure how long they will keep her passport and please pray for me cause I am waiting for my wife's visa as well.

Salam everyone, I have not been well since I arrived in Canada. But Thank Allah now it is all going ok they are almost done with Back Ground check and soon In Sha Allah all this will be in the past. Oh my Allah I just read the processing time jumped again, this is so shocking. When we first applied in 2010 oh so long ago the processing time was 18 months. They now put it at 31 months like this is unreal I can't believe this is happening.
Jason Kenny did nothing but line his pockets with our lives and it stops here and now I pray Allah gives me strength because what they are doing to us is Inhuman the likes of them playing with our lives like were dam numbers........
