Hey WES786!! Long time ... My hubbys interview was in November 2012, he passed and the VO took his passport from him.

It has been exactly 69 days and he did not get his passport back yet!! It is extremely ridiculous & absurd.

I do not know why they are taking this long only to send out the stamped passport.

How are you and your wife doing?

My hubby will have his interview on Feb 6th ...

Does anyone think it would be a good idea for me to go there and join him for the Interview?

MrsM they are not going to allow you to go inside for the interview.

No point going to the interview, just stay close to the telephone number you provided them cause they may call you to interview you too.

The Visa Officer who interviewed my husband called me and cross referenced all the details and asked me many questions too, my interview was about 45 minutes over the phone and my husband who went in person to CHC ISB was interviewed for about 3 hours.

Hi Jaania i noticed that the letter stated i should attend if i was in the country. My concern is what if they don't call me and end up refusing my hubbys visa

I guess i don't want to take any chances you know what i mean?

First time I went with my husband in June and they knew I was waiting in the room while they interviewed him. No one came to speak with me and the second time I waited at the hotel and they had my phone # and they still didn't call either.
I truely hope all goes well In Sha Allah may Allah bless you both and make it easy for you
