Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah

I checked my Ecas today and it was DECISION MADE.

Me and my wife are thankful to Allah (swt) and Muhammad (pbuh) wa ale Muhammad (pbuh)

The Decision was made on Aug 14, 2012....Pakistani Independence Day...Hahaha...Jinnah 4 lyfe

Many of you know that I have been waiting for over 4 months after PPR + ReMed.

Last Week on friday, my wife started Surah Yaseen amal and she was on the 5th day and we got Decision Made.

I was doing the Ziyarat-e-Ashura amal...its a 40 day amal. I was on the 20th day and we got Decision Made.

The point is that there is a lot of power is the words of Allah and everything is in the hands of Allah (swt)

I also thank everyone on the forum for all their help and encouragement through hard times....namely khushi, imtihan, red jeans, sawera, danny, canadianbear, SUR1, maham noor, blueye, khanb5, insaan2011, lonely, tuco and many others who I forgot to mention

Also members whom I had the pleasure to meet in person. yasir2k6 and became-a-loner....nice guys...THANK YOU.

2. micmac101 (Well they asked many questions about our relationship. How long have we known each other,when did we get married. One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)

BY the grace of ALLAH ALMIGHTY, i have arrived

in CANADA on Aug 12 . my PIA flight arrived half n hour early ... Which was unexpected ..

i wasnt asked so many question by immgration officers nor did i have to open bags

for customs i was so excited to arrive in canada n after i exited the door the first face i saw was of

my husband INSHA ALLAH we will get to celebrate this EID together n i wish n pray the same for the

rest who r waiting for there PPR n VISAS .....

Oh Really!!!!

Just because you got your visa so early, does not mean whatever you say is correct. Look at 2010 cases, why they lie that they follow FIFO.

BTW how come you have all this information. Do you have someone inside who might pass you the information or may be you were helped too..

I agree with you i dont think this case is genuine. its someone who is just trying to lower ppls moral. I can not believe tht any one's case can be resolved in 5 months in pakistan.

the interesting thing is we will neva find out if this person who claims to have gotten the visa in 5 months is genuine or not coz they wiill neva discuss their person details. so case closed

Question,

First time my wife is contacting the IOM Canadian Health Assessment Office. Can anyone share their experiences when going there for a medical assessment? I am assuming their offices were closed yesterday due to Pakistan independance day, she will contact them tomorrow for an appointment.

very efficient! everything will be done in 2-3 hrs. if she is taking someone with her they will have to wait outside. The person with the medical letter is allowed in. I didnt have to request for a female doctor they did the needful themselves. however if u feel the need just mention it. hope dis info helps

Congrats s_khan and others i havent congradulated too!

As for the pak2can guy, dig deeper guys, his case is not like ours. He has been married a few years and has couple of kids I think. Only now decided to goto Canada. Less proving to do when you have kids n they are canadian and your security is cleared. So his timeline should not be compared to ours.

As for the two queues (which shouldn't be if policy is FIFO) but if it is two queues, I think proportion / ratio divide may be off! 50/50 is wrong of they are doing that. Should be 70/30 to clear backlog! Just my 2 cents.
