my husband has been livin in Karachi Pakistan for the last 15 year n he has not even left the country at all....
so im pretty sure htat his background check should not take that long. first we have to wait till they open our file its has been 6-7 months now n nothin
the case is in que for initial review from reply on my email on May 13th 2011.

but i still dont understand how they people

Ali khan AOR April 2010( PPR April 2011)
Ch33rez AOR Nov 2010 (PPR May 2011)
mani457 AOR July 2010 ( PPR may 2011) ( Wife Immigration officer at calgary)

First of all just calm down. Great now that you are clam let me explain. Out of the 4 people you have mentioned, two of them are 2009 AOR Ali Shah and Ch33rs. Mani457 case was given a special attention because his wife is an immigration officer at the Calgary airport and we all know now that most of the applicants from 2009 AORs(took 18-24months) are done except for a few that are stucked and InshAllah they will finish in no time. We also know that AORs from Jan2010 to Apr2010 are now starting to receive PPRs so there should be no surprises with Ali Khan's case so why are you freaking out? I don't understand. Don't worry your time will come soon too like everyone else's here. We know this is not easy, I have been waiting for my wife's case to be done since Jan2010 as well and there are many others out there like me and your case is only been in process for the last 7 months and you are freaking out. There are people waiting here for more than 2yrs for example saifsmarty's case has been going on for the last 43 months. Yeah think about how he must be feeling. Anyways, you know you applied late 2010 and currently they have given the timeline of 23 months, and according to that you are looking to be finishing by end of 2012, but lets pray for all that they don't have to wait for so long and if your case finishes before that, then its a bonus and if it takes 2yrs then you know its normal...

Its different for everyone. If you have travelled to alot of country compare to just lived in pakistan in one city it could be 12 months vs 1 month.

haha I agree, wes bhai is having workout running all these months while babhi is not here. May Allah (swt) get your PPR very soon wes bhai so you can finally stop running, well minus the running into babhis arms at the airport

I think what wes bhai means to say by his post is that we should calm down and stop getting into panic because although it might sound bad but there are many other people waiting for much longer so just relax, stay calm, don't panic and create sad atmosphere and just pray that your time will come. I don't think he means to be rude but what he said is right that there are people waiting for so long and instead of having panic attack just keep your composure ;D inshAllah Allah will bring good time for everyone
