Hello everyone,

Can anyone who's husband's have received re-medical and PPR together tell me from the list of DMP provided which one is faster in processing and send the meds to N.Delhi??? I am looking for the good Dr. in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. Also on the passport request letter they want information of the applicant, spouse and children...ie their passport no. date of expiry and other informtion but my question is that my husband is coming alone and we do not have any children and I am a Canadian Citizen so I do not need to provide my passport info???

My husband has received remed and ppr together with remed timeline of 30 days and ppr time line of 15days. Can anyone tell me how much longer till we submit the remeds and ppr.

My husband didn't get re-med and PPR together but he did get re-med request. He went to Nilufar Nadeem in Islamabad. She is fast, he got appointment next day and when she saw him she said to call the office the next morning to confirm she has sent the results. So the day after his re-med he called her office and was told his results are ok and have been sent.

guys my husband has an interview in JULY....they called him with his passport...2 months k baad interview so lateee yar...
what will they ask any idea?

This is weird because if I remember correctly didn't you order caips and say marriage was genuine?

Anyway the last thing you received was to see that you reside in Canada, maybe they will just question him about fact that you are actually in Canada and whether your plans are to live in Canada after the visa...but you should order caips to see why they are requesting the interview. At least you have got the interview date already...some people are waiting from 2009 in the interview queue.

Good morning Everyone,

I read this forum regularly, and I also got upset from some conversation. I will only say that Love your land and work hard for your land coz none of the lands will become your homeland. We afghans from 30 or 35 years struggling and shedding our blood for our land to keep it safe for our self and we are still working for it.

Anyway,, I hope I get to hear about my passport today from TCS inshallah.

Two people got their passports back, other than that it's same old. For us it has been 1 month exactly today that my husband did re-med just waiting for PPR. Have you done ur re-med?

Allhamdulillah ..im soo happy today.. i got my passport back with visa..

its all because of our efforts, prayers and the endless help of forum members..
im so thankfull to u all.
tis waiting game was so hard n painfull.. this time is the horrible one of my life time n i wish everyone who is caught in this painfull game will pass it soon..

here is my timeline:

applied in december 2009
AOR jan 21 2010
additional documents june 2010
objection on nikkah octuber 2010
sent wedding n reception pics in november n december 2010
re-medical n updated PCC n other refilled docs 25 december2010
medical done jan 6 2011
PPR 15 april 2011
passport sent 18 april2011
status change to decision made 2 may 2011
passport back with visa 9 may 2011

Usually it seems that CHC-ISB sends out PPR together to a bunch of people, then when those people get their passport back they send a new batch of PPR to others. So inshAllah I hope we both get PPR in the next batch. Allah se dua kartein rahay gaye, inshAllah dua ab jaldi qabool ho jaye gi. You are in my duas also ;D

Re: My first post here. Thanks to all of you here and from previous forum

I was on the other forum but looks like everyone has migrated here. Thanks for the information Lahorecouple. Assuming that most of the previous forum members are also here, I would thank all of you for all your help and advice. I was able to finally mail my application on Apr-29 and it is a big relief. I am specially gratedful to Lahorecouple, Inshallah, Exeemz, Mahamed17, Hp_invent010, Logari and Calgarian. Your good and prompt answers sure made this easier for me.

It is only 10 days since I mailed the application and from Candapost tracking I found it was delivered on May 2. Am I going to get any acknowledgement from CIC-Mississauga ? Will it show on online status? It was a lot of hard work and I want to be sure that my application package is where it is suppose to be.

Any how good folks of the forum, my best wishes to all of you and I pray each one of you soon get the good news from Islamabad.

Guys & gals, I just checked status online. It says Decision Made!!!!!!!!

Hopefully, Allah ka karam hai! will receive my wife passport next week!

It is exactly 13 months today since CIC-Islamabad started processing!

Keep your hopes up and always pray to ALLAH(SWT) in good and bad times!

Now I will write my experience:

first of all i hate your lawyer, just give him some money and get rid of him. then email embassy and tell them that you haven't received re-medical sent in 1st April yet. tell them your time line and tell them please tell me what to do or please email me the remedical form so i do it and send it to you. Also tell them that you are going to send your change of address notice through fax.
while writing email and fax write your info like this as below
Title:
Name of Applicant:
DOB of Applicant:
Nationality:




File Number or Client ID Number:
Telephone number:
Type of Application: Permanent Residence in Canada:

Write your mailing address clearly and send it to them.
you are near to get your visa that is why they asked u for re medical, just be patient for some more days.
