CHC ISLAMABAD medicals done waiting for PPR.

Second medical is valid till 3 march, No response so far from CHC Islamabad. Last Saturday when I received a call from CHC, the man advised me, in case of no response for some time, I should call CHC and record message on an extension he gave me. Inshallah on Monday I will record my message and share results with you if any. God bless us, who are waiting since the time of Pope John Paul II (who died on 2 April 2005).

My case is in Islamabad too and got same reply and i think, suggest or advice the people whom medical or remedical is expiring in Marach should send email every second or third day and keep reminding them that how many days left to expire of medical or remedical and keep them reminding that is not simple medical , it is even remedical and what sort of patience they expect from you ?

Yes you are right I am doing the same thing, sending email after evrey three days. I also recorded my message on the given phone extention. I do not know status of other people in same positin, expiring remedical in March 2012. But I have been categorically informed by the CHC that security checks have been completed in my case about three months ago and no further steps lefts. Only review by the concerned officer. Let us wait.

Yes send them email after every 2 to 3 days. Same was happened with my case, medical was expiring in March 2011 and they ask me to send police clearance certificates in Feb so visa was issued for 15 days only.

So be prepared for emergency landing

I am worried after reading your post because I have Blue passport (official) and I was thinking that I will cancel this and get green only when I receive PPR from CHC, because I do not need visa for many countries on blue passport. What should I do still double minded.

I have received email today in response of my query email to CIC, as my medical going to expire in April 9/ 2012
Dear Applicant,

Please be advised that your application is due for review by an immigration officer. Your medical results are valid until 09-04-2012. This means that should a permanent residence visa be issued to you, you will be required to travel to Canada and complete the landing process by that date.

Once the review of your file has taken place we will be in contact with further information.

Dear I applied in 2004 and send copy of green passport, after expiry of that I got new green passport in 2008 and send them copy of that. In Oct 2011 due to some official assignments I got an official (blue) passport and my green passport was cancelled. I still not intimated CHC Islamabd. My plan is that only when CHC will demand (Because CHC is the most unpredictable species on the earth) I will apply for the green passport that will be issued within seven days and my blue passport will be cancelled. Becuase as per law we cannot retain two passports (Of course exception is for 'Safarsh' ,contacts, Rishwat etc). Any suggestion please.
