Charged with sexual assault

I was charged with sexual assault. And after 2 months I received medical exam request for my permanent residency file. I was an international student and i applied for pr after getting approved from AINP. for assault case- i am charged, but case is not in trial yet. Someone told me cic will freeze my file but not reject it until final decision from criminal court. And also should I submit my medical?

Yes your case can not be resolved until your case is resolved. You should be working with a lawyer who knows about the effect a conviction will have on your immigration status.

I would imagine sexual assault would be straight inadmissible. May be wrong though

Not convicted yet but yes I would imagine as well.
