Have you validated your COPR? Are you now a landed immigrant and just waiting for the PR Card? If yes, then take your validated COPR to the nearest Service Canada and get your permanent SIN and then apply for the new health card.
If you have not validated the COPR, then do that first.

Nope...no need of informing any credit bureau reporting agencies...gets done automatically thru CRA..just update with banks and new SIN gets updated to CB reporting agencies later...no adverse effects at all...
