Hi guys ,
I received ITA on jan 25th and my score was 472 (exactly 2years of canadian exp) under CEC
i have worked in five diff companies to make it 2 years
my question is , i have difficult time in getting a clean reference letter from one of my employer ( I got it but some details are missing in the letter and employers client in which i actually worked does not provide me reference letter)

i am thinking of two options is
1) -to avoid confusion remove that particular exp and submit my application . still my score will be 459 (for one yr exp) above the lowest score off ITA -453
2)or submit whatever i have . and if visa office don't like my reference letter then he can still consider for one year exp and make my profile eligible ( i guess this will confuse/add complexity to my profile ?)

please advise

Option 1 is best. Remove it, and put in a letter stating that you couldn't find the reference letters from one job so you're taking it out, but it is still above the cutoff for the draw.

Do not do option 2 that is unsafe. Officers will not consider that you still have one year and be okay with it. It borders on misrepresentation.

There is a third option, decline ITA, remove that job, wait for next ITA which should surely be lower than 459. That is the most safe bet where you do not need to put in any letters of explanation.

Option 1 is still good though

Option 2 is the best - you listed in the profile, you might as well submit what you have (which would include a T4). You can also write a letter of explanation describing the difficulties with your employer and client.

Remember IRCC does have the option to contact the employer. Or, if it is missing details to the point that IRCC determines that you are no longer eligible for points for that job, they will simply deduct the points, and you will still be fine.

Insufficient documentation is not misrepresentation. Misrepresentation is possibly the most misunderstood thing on this board. Misrepresentation is lying to gain PR. Based on the info you provided, this is does not apply to your situation.

Excellent explanation! Thanks a lot . Will go with option 2
