Changing LMIA while Profile is under review

Hello,

I’m currently in Canada on an LMIA. I received an ITA in June and Applied for PR end of July (still awaiting a decision) My current employer has been up and down with work so I applied for another LMIA that got approval this morning.

My question is, do i need to inform CIC of this change and if so will it have any negative effect of my current PR application?

Always be open with CIC about changes or occurrences. Your LMIA will allow you to work in the meantime and should have no effect on your application for permanent residence. It is a separate application. You can let IRCC know that you would still like to continue with your PR application.
