yah your right..I am 2 weeks away for my approval(hopefully). So, your telling me that I need to wait for my approval before I get the new job? Or vice versa? Sorry I didnt get your explanation.

No i didnt say that I said it is best to update ur employment info with Manilla I also said to u in a previous post i changed my job and we applied same time so I am waiting until my file gets to my outland VO Kingston Jamaica then I will update my mailing address and my work info so in my case and in many others we simply change jobs and then updat info later

Do not pass up a job waiting for approval nor do i say do not go on vacation u still have to live ur life outside this application process

oh i see...now I get it.. I can leave my job right away even my application is in process..And after I got my new job I need to update to them my new job Info..RIGHT? Is that what you are telling me? And I can go for a vacation even my application is still in process without notifying them...? right? Thanks..

yes to both questions

Yes...Thanks..But wait, I just asked one of the people here in the forum that you cannot go out of canada while your application is in process..because when they call you you'll be denied..is that true? Are you the sponsor or sponsored? Maybe we have same situation right.?

I am the sponsor and I am a citizen and I have left the country last weekend and return and others have left the country being PR and return and are allowed to sponsor

If I live outside Canada, may I sponsor?

If you are a Canadian citizen, you may sponsor a spouse, a common-law partner or conjugal partner, or a dependent child who has no children of his or her own. However, you must demonstrate that you will live in Canada when the sponsored person becomes a permanent resident.

Note: Permanent residents residing abroad may not sponsor from outside of Canada. Canadian citizens travelling as tourists are not considered to be residing abroad.
