Changing jobs on implied status

I've worked in Canada full time for over 3 years. I've submitted my PR application and am currently waiting to hear back if my BOWP (Bridging Open Work Permit) has been accepted. Can I change jobs at all during this time? And if not, can I change jobs once my BOWP has been processed? My current work is killing me and I need to change

if you are on closed WP you cannot change jobs but you can leave your job. If you are on OWP then you can. Once you get your BOWP, you can switch jobs
