Change of University/collage after landing to Canada

Hi,
I have applied for September 2018 intake but I received my visa in mid of October so I can't continue with the same university now. Now I am in Canada and I want to change my University. Previously I had admission in MSc Applied Modeling in Trent University for September 2018, but as it expired now and I got my visa after my admission expired. So I need to switch to another post graduate degree/diploma to any other institution.

Please let me know
1- Can I switch my institution?
2- I had admission in MSc, can I take admission in any other post graduate diploma or certification??
3- Do I need to inform to CIC or embassy for change of course or institution?

Check this link. For post graduate programs, they have indicated that you could change it in your acct.
