Hello Everyone,

I sent my application for PR on August 22, 2013 and I am waiting for the AOR. But now I am being moved to different role within the same organization.

Do I need to inform CIC about my new position and duties? If yes, what is the procedure for that.

Thanks

If you don't have your AOR yet, you can't inform CIC. Wait for AOR and then,
you can email them.
You can go ahead and switch positions for sure, as CIC will assess you application based on the
information you've provided in the application package.

No, you do not need to inform CIC in relation to your CEC applciation.

However, it depends what type of work permit you have, whether you are authorized to make this change under your current work permit. If you are on a closed work permit, a change of position means you have to get a new LMO and a new work permit before you can change.
