My question is little tricky. I hope I can get some assistance on it.
I am an Indian Citizen holding New Zealand PR (and living in NZ) at this stage. I'll be eligible for NZ citizenship mid next year.
Within next couple of months my wife and I are planning to apply for Express Entry to migrate to Canada.
Now my question is, Express entry to Canada application will take maximum of 1 year and imagine if we get PR and we decide to move to Canada early next year. What will happen in the case when I become eligible for get my NZ citizenship after we move to Canada. I'll have to surrender my Indian passport to get NZ passport.
Can someone please advise whether changing my passport from Indian to NZ have any impact on my Canadian PR?
