Hi Guys,

I just want to get your opinion, what are the advantage(s) of changing the last name (from maiden name to married name) in my passport, with regards to spousal sponsorship application. Would it be a problem if passport is still under maiden name and then husband will sponsor me?

Thank You!

I have not changed my name after i got married and it never was a problem. However, I think it depends on how it's usually done in your country. If not changing your name is really unusual in your culture, then it could be a red flag.
