Hi,
Sorry to bother you again.
If the salary was increased recently, what should the employer state as salary? The salary on which he started ? or the recent increment?
For the work reference letter it has to be the current salary.

Hi,
A friend of mine declared his marriage after getting his PPR for PR as he got married after that and he got a request from IRCC for additional documents. But he was dating his girl friend (now wife) for more than 3 years and they were living together at the time he applied for his PR. Does this mean that he was in common law and he misrepresented by not declaring her? He was not sure at that time if they were going to stay together in future.

There are many facets to this. It largely depends on the country of residence and whether common law relationship is recognized there. Also, if you are in a CLR and don't declare it, it is not an issue.

It would not be an issue. If you are married, you have to declare it in your application. If you re in a CLR, then it depends on the circumstances.

No consequences. You can change your NOC post ITA and it doe snot matter.

However, jus make sure that the NOC you select must be listed in skill type 0 (Managerial occupations), skill level A (Professional occupations) or skill level B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of the National Occupational Classification (NOC)

if someone stays in country A till October 1st 2020 and gets his PCC from country A on September 25th 2020, should he apply for a new PCC for Country A if he is back in Canada after that to cover that 5-6 day period?

As per IRCC the PCC requirement is:

  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.
A few days would not matter and you can mention this in LoE. If IRCC requires a new PCC, they will ask for it.
