The online change of residency form says that in order to use the online change of address form I have to have my case processed in Canada. But I have notified my VO in Sydney that our address has changed, but it hasn't been applied to our file yet. Should I just use the online change of address form anyway? Or should I count on the Sydney VO to get my email and adjust the file?

The fact that my spouse and I are in Canada together is a huge thing for our application - as outland applications are often rejected because there is not enough evidence that the couple will return to Canada once the application is accepted. Since we are both already here I kinda thought it was important for them to know. But at the same time I don't want to ruffle any feathers at CIC by using the online form when I shouldn't be. Opinions...? Thanks :D

If you sent them a paper change of address form, that's enough. I sent mine when applied to FSW and it did not reflect on my case either. But when they sent me a PPR, I saw they updated eCas. It took about a year to reflect a new address on ecas. So, I should not worry too much. But just in case make sure that if you receive anything in your old address, will be forwarded to you.
