After receiving MR will delay the process of the application? :-X ???

What exactly is the change in your marital status? Just been married or became common-law, just got divorced, separated from spouse? Or are you just thinking about getting married soon? Or planning to be divorced?


If you get married before your PR app is approved, then yes, it will delay your app because you need to add your new spouse. If you don't add your spouse, you will never be able to sponsor him/her and your are risking your own status by committing misrepresentation.

As I said above, you MUST add your spouse, even though your app will be delayed by a few months. Your spouse will need to have a medical and obtain all necessary PCCs; you will need to update certain forms and your spouse will need to fill out the applicable forms.

Email the VO to inform them of the marriage and they should tell you what is required.
