Hi, if anyone can comment or share experience about my case I would greatly appreciate it

I applied for my PR in July 2018 and 7 months after I received my COPr; however, I got married in the meantime (Oct 2018) and I informed CIC about my change in marital status, and they add my wife as a dependent in my application because we sent all the requirements. My wife’s applied as protected person to her PR, a few days ago she received an email from CIC asking to add me to her application. My questions are:

Do I need to send to immigration my CoPR (marital status single) without a request from CIC?
Should we check the box on the form that We will be submitting on her application that I will be accompanying her in Canada or not?
Is she going to be in my application?

Confused. Is she not in Canada as a protected person? Would help if you gave more context.

Yes she lives in Canada with me, I applied through express entry and she applied as a protected person! We have to process in parallel, however, we applied as single in both applications as we got married months afterwards

Why was the marital status in your COPR single if you informed IRCC of the change?

I do not know! The first email from CIC I received in January 30th and I immediately told them that I was married and sent them all the info about my wife and marriage! On February 15th I got my CoPR and then I sent another email and on Feb 29th the changed my application status back to processing and added her as dependent

Would encourage you to call IRCC to see if your wife has been added to your PR application. Unless you know your PR application as a couple has been finalized and you have received your COPR I wouldn’t want to give up her PR application.
