Change employer in processing of PR

My employer was sponsoring me for QSWP, now my application is still under processing? Can I change my employer without affecting my PR application?

Can an employer sponsor? I'm not sure.

If you are referring to an offer of permanent employment from your current employer then once you get your CSQ it is just fine to change employers. But not while processing your CSQ as you would've claimed job verification points from that employer.

I am assuming you already hold a csq. Employer sponsors work permit (A75) and you apply for QSWP on your own.
Since you aren't clear here about your current status - I am assuming you hold a CWP with your current employer and you want to change your employer. Certainly you can change employer without affecting your PR application. You have to apply for a new A75 and the change of employer one is faster - 10 to 15 days max in comparison to a new/extension A75 with the same employer which takes 180 days.
