Hello everyone!
I want to know what are my chances to get the Canadian visitor Visa. The reason why I want to go to Canada it's because I want to spend 2 weeks of my summer break with my boyfriend there. He's an American citizen living and studying in United States and I'm a Peruvian citizen living and studying in Colombia (I'm in fourth semester of university now).
He will be the one paying for the whole trip and the flights, so I think I need an sponsorship letter from him with a copy of his passport and bank certificate proving that he has sufficient funds (he has 5k dollars on his bank account for the trip).
The ties that I have in the country that I'm living are only three, like I said I'm an university student, I only have my mom in this country and I have a credit card and funds here (I have an small business so my average income per month its like 500 dollars). I'm an immigrant here in Colombia too.
My travel history has only been between Colombia and Peru and I don't have an American Visa (and I never applied to one).
Besides the usual documents that I have to provide and the sponsorship letter, I will provide a letter from my university saying that I'm an student there and the year schedule and also my itinerary with places that we want visit and the address of the Airbnb that we will stay (it would be better if I provide an hotel address instead of the Airbnb?). should I also provide my bank certificate with my credit card even when I'm not the one paying for the trip?
How do you think my chances are?
Thanks everyone!

Your chances of approval are unfortunately quite low given you are young, have relatively few ties to your home country and don't have any real assets. The fact that your boyfriend is paying for the trip weakens the application further. Is there a reason why you're not visiting him in the U.S. instead?

Or how about your boyfriend being American visit you there in Columbia ?Or Peru ? Somewhere you both do not need a visa to visit,. Possibly some other place in South America. . Americans do not need a visa to visit there for periods under 90 days, so that would eliminate any paper work in that area,

Canadian visa is usually harder. Your chances are not good.
