Long story short:
-I'm American
-I have a seasonal job ( May to September)
-I have $5000-6000 USD funds plus another 1500 coming this winter with my taxes
- I have a dog ( staying with parents for the time being)
- I have previous week to 2wk visits to Canada ( several)
-my family is here
I'm a little worried about my extension. I'm not exactly sure what to say. I'm planning on staying for my six month allowance then extending so I can get common-law with my boyfriend so he can sponsor me for PR. We are intending to get married in couple years but we want to save some money as we are the process of planning for a house being built. I'm worried about getting an extension. Do I say that I'm shooting for common-law status for a PR so I 'need' to live with him. We are in a commited relationship and want to live together. A little help is appreciated as I'm a tad bit of a worrywart and I would like to have an idea what I'm up against so I'm prepared. Thanks again.
