Has anyone submitted for PR as their certificate of qualification a power engineering or refrigeration operator certificate issued by Technical Safety BC and had no problems/letters or rejection?
My reasoning for asking this is because I don't know if its valid. But keep in mind the next points:
My reasoning for asking this is because I don't know if its valid. But keep in mind the next points:
- It is issued under the safety standards act, and signed by a provincial safety manager. https://www.bclaws.gov.bc.ca/civix/document/id/consol19/consol19/00_03039_01#section26
- The "diploma" has written in big letters "certificate of Qualification"
- Technical safety bc is a provincial regulatory body.
- You require a course, examination and months of experience in order to certificate or get the license (at least for refrigeration operator and power engineer class 5)
- It is not issued by ITA / skilledtradesbc, this is my main reason for doubting its validity.
