i am writing this regarding that certificate of qualification (Ontario water wastewater treatment) will helpful for express entry as i am working as quality control technician (NOC B). Will i get the extra 50 point or not?

No, several have tried. Since it is not issued by the provincial College of Trades, IRCC does not consider it a trade.

I Did Post graduate diploma in chemical laboratory analysis from toronto and i have Certificate of operator in training (all 4 classes) from Ontario water and waste water certification office regulated under Ministry of environment and climate change. Now i am working as a quality control technician in food processing with one year experience (NOC B level job) . So with this certificate of qualification can i get the extra points for express entry to get PR?

Hi, so have you applied under CEC yet with your one year experience? How did you match your duties to that on the website for noc B 2211. Their duties are more chemical related I feel and different for those working as QC tech in food processing. I am worried that they will not accept because the duties dont match. Thanks

Does it also mean that a 'certificate of qualification' will always be used in the context of Federal Skilled Trades only?
