Greetings I would like to ask the following questions:
How long should the permanent resident live in Quebec before he/she can sponsor a common law partner?
Do the sponsor need to proof financial capacity to support his/her common law partner?
What is required from the sponsor and the sponsored person during the 3-year period of the sponsorship?
When is the sponsored person eligible to obtain permanent residency?
Is the sponsor allowed to obtain financial assistance for full-time course in French during the sponsorship period?
If only one person from a couple has received CSQ (Certificat de sélection du Québec) and wants to sponsor his/her common law partner, can they move to Québec together? (the common law partner is citizen of a visa-exempt EU country and is allowed to stay in Canada for 6 months)
Does the CSQ holder fills in this form: https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5406e.pdf for his/her common law partner even if the requirement of 1 year cohabitation is not yet met?
Is there a significant difference in the period it takes for a sponsorship to be approved in Quebec and the other Provinces ?
