hi all hope doing well and safe i recently took 2months CERB because of covid19 my company was closed now from 1st july i start working again my concern is is that 2months cerb period count as working experience under CEC.
i really appreciate your valuable advises thanks for your time.

I mean, if you weren't working, then I don't see how you could count that as work experience.

i know usually they do not count but because of covid 19 business is closed by government if there is any exemptions

i am in same situation.. i am at home since april 1, 2020 due to covid 19 ..my pgwp is expiring on october 08, 2020...i read some people have raised petition in ontario for candidates like us..but no response from government yet...i will attach letter from employer to justify my work experience loss and to request for pgwp extension ...it is not our fault..either they must extend our pgwp or they must consider it as work experience...from where we would get lost time?...it is not in our hands.

Unfortunately that is why people are recommended to attend a 2 year program. PGWP is unlikely to be extended. Whether being on CERB is considered ”work” is up to CIC but I would be considering a plan B. Time on CERB was not time where you were working and some remain on CERB so would any amount of time on CERB by considered “work”? These are the type of questions that make accepting time on CERB a tough thing to consider as work. You’ll have to wait and what the results of the requests are.

you are right. that is why i chose manitoba where you can apply for PR after 6 months of work experience but this pathetic virus messed up everything...i am surprised why government is not releasing any statement on this issue..everyone is in dark

They have likely not decided what to do. Unfortunately the 1 year option is always risky.
