did you know a high number of social assistance receivers are collecting cerb as well.
its only a phone call and your getting 2000$ a month on top of your assistance payments
good luck getting any of that money back! someone should have had the sin for all provicial assistance receivers accessible to the cerb program someone really dropped the ball there

I assume you know this isn't a government web site. We are all normal people like you.

Suggest you reach out to your MP if you have concerns.

Also - I would say there's a pretty easy way to get that money back. Take it off future social assistance payments.

But again, none of us here work for the government. You'll need to contact someone who does.

As said above, quite easy to clawback by garnishing welfare payments, along with CCB, GST/HST credits, OAS and whatever other government money people may be receiving.

If someone is on social assistance and receives CERB this can cause that assistance to be stopped . If someone is on subsidised housing, that can be affected as well. If tax payers were receiving any federal credits such as GST HST refunds , those will be stopped.
The Government will get the money back, and guaranteed in about 10 months people will start complaining that their benefits have stopped
And you had to have a valid SIN to apply
