As part of our application my wife and I are going to submit a few credit card and bank statements. These include info like our credit card numbers and purchases - do you think it would be a problem for us to censor some of the info on them? I guess it's probably not super necessary but I'm a bit uncomfortable with submitting them as is. The info isn't relevant to my application and the agent doesn't need to know. Do you think it would make the agent think we're hiding something if I black out some of the info? This is more from an impulse to not give more than is necessary (sort of a general paranoid nature) than anything really embarrassing on the statements, though a monthly political donation does show up.
