My application was approved today and since I'm inland, can I start the process(send request through the web form) to book my inland landing interview now or does it have to wait until I receive the COPR?
Technically you can email them before receiving CoPR. You need to give them Name, DoB, UCI, PR Application Number, Your address, CoPR expiry date and expiry or temporary status.
But it is highly advised to wait till you receive CoPR. This is because if there are any mistakes in CoPR (Name, Passport Number, Passport issue & expiry dates) you need to get that corrected before going for validation of CoPR.

So I had called IRCC agent yesterday and got to know that a decision was made for my file on 16th Jan by the visa officer . Normally we get a PPR email but in my case they are sending me a post mail from Edmonton . Not sure if this is normal ?
It would be great if you throw some light on this .

My timeline is:

Medical: Oct 10
I have requested 2 notes already ( cause I'm impatient ) but there weren't anything important in them, they basically said nothing has happen and nothing is started or in progress.
last I called CIC(about a month ago) the officer on the phone told me I'm in the right track and I have to wait, nothing is started and it's normal.
I hope we all get good news soon

Yeah for me too there was no email or message. Last time I got an email after the ghost update, it was for my medical exam.

So far I passed Medical, criminality, eligibility pass but Edmonton have to confirm and security not started.
