I'm creating this thread for people have received/awaiting the re-medical request for themselves or the outland dependants from IRCC just to get an understanding of the how the processing time/timelines looks like after the re-medicals have been passed all the way through the Portal email/Passport request. Hi, when you got remedial request. Please share your updates
My remedial request was on 7 Oct , submitted on 12 October

my remedial request was on 1 oct and submitted on 5 October. hospital didn't send it yet as they take 7-10 working days to send the report to IRCC.

You've been kept waiting for an extended period of time! I hope you get the golden email very soon. I am CEC outland myself whose AOR happens to be 6th Jan, 2021. My medical results have expired, but I've not been asked to redo the medical tests. Let's just hope those have been extended. Please keep us posted on any progress that you see on your side.

I got a remedical request as well but in my case I am an inland cec applicant AOR is August 15, 2021 I submitted my old medical records due to the public policy exempting applicants already in canada from completing new medicals if their medicals is only 5 years old mine was done in 2017. In September 16 they passed my old medical but then the next day it went back to you do not need a medical exam. Then last week Monday they sent me instructions to do new medicals. Submitted new medical on Friday. So now waiting to see further updates. Anyone in the same boat?

Hey man, you are waiting for 18 months now... This is impossible wait.
Did you consult a lawyer for a mandamus? Force IRCC to tell you what they did with your application.
Do you have GCMS results?

This IRCC call centre agents are very rude to me.
They never help by saying a kind word too
Last time I asked them about doing remedical ahead of time the lady was laughing at me, saying if you have a lot of money then go for remedicals

Well, its nothing new, IRCC and its assholic behaviour are well known. If you have not, get GCMS notes. Atleast you will know where the things are stuck.

Hey, fellow applicants, I just got a request to redo my medical, and it sure sounds like a positive development. If any of the candidates on here are from Punjab then please advise how is the service at the SPS hospital Ludhiana. The last time I went to Dr. Chawla's clinic, and I found staff to be overly rude to the point where I almost ended up arguing. So, to keep my zen intact I am just looking see if the experience at the SPS hospital is any better.

The guy is not in Canada.

SPS hospital is in Ludhiana, Punjab, India.

He is physically not in Canada.

Congrats on your PPR mail man!

I think I know why you got a re-med. It was because you were having less than 6 months of "validity" left on your meds even after considering 5 years.

I have done my remeds on 23OCT2021. Do we need to upload anything to prove that we have done the remeds? Or panel physician does it automatically?
