Hello Experts,

A : Agency ( US )
B : Company ( US )
C : Client of Company ( Ontario, Canada )
I am creating my express entry profile under CEC program, I found some difficulty while answering work history question, could anyone please guide me.

My Case : Right now i am working through an Agency (A) for a company (B) and both based on US but i am working at Toronto for the client (C) of Company, Ontario Location and also getting pay through an agency. but the question is where i am working now is the client (C) of a Company So first of all is that work experience will count for CEC, if yes then what i need to write under the box of Company name and address in CEC profile. please help me.

Note : My agency is ready to provide me an experience letter and they will mention in it " I am working for Company (B) at Toronto location.

If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

Hi, what's the employer name and address shown on your T4 slip? I think it's only logical to enter the information appearing on your T4 slip as your employer.

May I ask how did you get your Canadian work permit at the first place. I assume that you have a Canadian work permit and it's likely a LMIA-Exempt NAFTA work permit, yes? If this is the case, then you should trace back to the information that you (or whoever did the paperwork for you at the first place) input on your work permit application and when the IRCC Employer Portal and online employment offer was created.

In my opinion and as I understand it, Company C is neither your employer nor is the entity that pays your salary. Given that neither your actual employer nor the entity that pays you is a Canadian business, I'm not even sure whether or not you could actually get a CRA T4 slip. In your situation, you can get a T4 slip for your works being done in Canada Only If your American employer has been registered with CRA as a foreign company doing business in Canada. If that's the case, then your American employer should have a Canadian busienss address which will be appearing on your T4. So to simplify things, just wait for your T4 slip, and see what's the address appearing on it.

@jes_ON ?

Who is issuing your T4? If it is the Agency, then the agency is your employer, and you need to get your employment documents from them.

However, because you are working under contract to a third party (the client organization in Toronto), IRCC also likes to see a letter from them as well, since no one at the Agency is directly supervising you. If you can get a letter from the client organization, it should contain details like dates of assignment, location, hours worked per week, and most importantly, job duties and responsibilities.

Thanks for response.

Actually third party is not allow to provide any kind of documents. But my agency is ready to provide all documents even i wll try with my 2nd party to provide me just experience letter.

Is that works ?

Your pay stub should have the employer name. That should go under the name and that is what will appear on the T4 too

Can you please share what happens in this case?
Company A has sent a person to Calgary under INTRA company transfer. But the letter only states Indian Head office address along with titles held in India. For Canada, it only states that employee is working here from Feb 2019 till date. Nothing specific about Canadian Title or Job Duties.
Is that necessary for CEC? or would T4 and pay slips work?
