CEC - PR:Primary applicant in Canada on PGWP, spouse on TRV, in India.

My spouse is on PGWP and staying in Canada, I have Canada TRV, but now in India ( i havn't yet travelled to Canada). Can we apply for Canada PR -CEC now? or, do we need to apply after I land in Canada? Please Help!

You can apply whenever he complies with the requisites.

BTW how are you planning to land without CEC? Any other PR process you have ATM?

Hi Anklet,

I am in the same boat as yours. That is my spouse is on WP in Canada and I have applied for Visitor Visa. As per my research, there shouldn't be any problem for him in applying for PR for both of you'll though you reside in India. Make sure you finish your Police verification( you from India and ur spouse from Canada) before applying for PR.

i have applied my PR recently. i have submitted my PCC along with the PR application. now my question is ...

A) Do the Canadian Govt will also redo the process of my police verification in india for my PR application or they go with the latest PCC i have submitted to them.
B) Because if they do that again in india it may increase the time of PR application.
