Sorry to hear this... but at least you still have a chance to rectify. Just curious, what is your current status on the tracker portal regarding background check and eligibility? I'm curious as my letters didnt contain the job duties as well, and I also have Vancouver VO
Hey bro, how are you? What's your AOR? Mine is October 19 and is also in Vancouver VO. I decided to submit an updated reference letter for one of my employer didn't also put roles and responsibilities thinking it might be the reason why eligibility is still pending (only thing not completed on my application). Also, if you are in Ask Kubeir group in Facebook, most of the reason for refusal people get there is because of the roles and responsibilities not being mentioned in the letter.

I suggest you also submit an updated letter thru webform if you can even though they haven't requested it yet as some of the officers might not be as nice and considerate or at least get a GCMS note to know where your progress at.

OMG... Just noticed that my dependent's passport is about to expire in 7 months... If I am not getting the Outland dependent PPR, I will be in trouble I guess..

Can they walk in and get the visa stamped on the same day if we get PPR within a couple of weeks? Really worried now....

The PR tracker is showing biometrics in progress, but no email has been received regarding biometrics. Does anyone know what this means ?

Thanks for your kind words. My letters didn't include the duties info, but I did write an explanation and sent supporting documents, including contracts that list the scope of services, and also the collective agreement that gives all information regarding the duties (I belong to a union).

I also ordered a CBSA note on Jan 26, so would receive the note soon. CBSA is more reliable than GICC in issuing notes, as you can actually nudge them after 30 days while GICC doesn't give a f*** about the 30-day deadline. Let's see what will happen with the notes and the file then.

Cool, you must be good then.

Agree with CSBA, I actually received my notes from them 30 days after requesting it. Requested January 18 - received February 17.

I received an email as well. There were two emails. First email was eCoPR is available for download and second email after 1 hour of stating that, you are now a permanent resident of Canada. I hope this helps!

When creating new GCMS request for CBSA, it is not asking for payment. Are others also facing it ?
Yes, if you choose Privacy Act. It is free, but you will never get it.
I had the same thing happen for me, just got the initial mail with temporary reference number. It stated that once the request is registered actual number will be generated, which never happened even after 3 weeks.
