When did you apply for BOWP? Paper or Online?

So I got my BOWP approved yesterday. Does it make any difference for PR process? Meaning they approved it coz they know my PR process is approved as well?

One of my friend told me that they received the PPR and then they got their work permit approved so CIC wont have to return the money for the work permit.

I dont know just trying to see some light from somewhere lol

Hi there, do you know when your doctor submit your e-medical results to CIC?

we did ours on March 23, and still not showed "Medical Received" on ECAS.

Do you think we need to contact CIC to ask?
Have you send email to CIC about your medicals with your Medical Information Sheet ?

Right on !!! Lol that's exactly they want us to do. workpermit for many of us expiring soon, they want to earn money this way.. That's why they have extended the processing time and I am sure that it will be 21 month soon.

Nonsense politicians are playing with our emotions and patience.

May god bless them

Wouldn't that be nasty? Maybe some people would like to study once they are PR and miss the deadline.

Haha.. my daughter's study permit was already approved (she is 6), but they have not processed my work permit yet.. All sent together! I guess they are not expecting her to course grade 2 by herself in Canada! ;D

They give us hope one day in a week (by some requests) and then they go on break for the rest of week.
October Applicants started getting document and medical requests from second or third week of March, it's been one month, they haven't really started moving our applications towards approval.
I don't understand why is it taking so much time only for October applicants.
For August/September they finished them up in 2,2 months (except few cases)... let's see how many months they wanna spend on our files).
By looking at their speed, it doesn't look like they want to finish our applications by end of May.
That will be the luckiest day of my file when i get decision made on my application.

Since there are often many requests on one single day, I think, it's also similar to Sunday's batch updates. It's not like they go to sleep on all other days. They work and then send the many updates of the past week's work on that day. That's my theory.

I also wonder, if the analysts who work on our files are the same, who take care of Express Entry entrants?

Agreed, they're definitely working hard to clear the backlog, and in the interest of saving resources, send updates in batches.

I really hope that is true. I agree that there is lot of work for them to do too.

It stresses me when i don't see any activity in our thread. Like yesterday was dry day and i guess today too.
It scares me if they gonna do same to us like last year.

True, but pretty much right after the liberals came into office, processing started to ramp up. I think they're committed to moving on past the old CEC. Just my gut feeling.

Just to add, a few time back I was looking at an opening at CIC. They have mentioned in the job posting that you should be willing to work on weekends and holidays as well.

There is only a handful of applicants on this forum. Keep that in mind. ;)

That's true too. ;D
I just got off phone with my representative. He has applied for many applicants in October 2014.
He mentioned he is getting MRs for October applicants. No RPRF/PPRs for his clients yet.

Fingers Crossed, Good luck to us and CIC for clearing old backlog. ;)

Oh yea, I wish I could get a job with them just to see how they work!
If they are the ones sending emails, or they programme them to send at one time, who knows.
But for me, I notice all my correspondence I received from them has been on a Thursday,
So maybe they have certain days, where they review our files...
